American soprano, Jasmine Haghighatian, is known for her crystal voice and captivating stage presence. A Texas native, Jasmine has performed with Spotlight on Opera, The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Austin, and Austin Lyric Opera.  During her time in San Antonio, she performed with the UTSA Lyric Theater, the San Antonio Opera Guild's Opera in the Schools, the San Pedro Playhouse, and the San Antonio Opera. Jasmine also performed frequently around Central Texas as a soloist for various concerts, ceremonies and events. Recent engagements include Trouble in Tahiti with Opera Piccola of San Antonio, Speed Dating Tonight! with Texas State Opera Theater, as a soloist with Capitol Opera Richmond, Classical Revolution RVA's Mozart Festival, and The Theater Company at Fort Lee's production of Cinderella, where she portrayed step-sister Joy. While in Virginia, Ms. Haghighatian founded Old Towne Opera in the city of Petersburg. She also served as the organization's Artistic Director. Most recently, Jasmine found herself in Western Massachusetts, where she appeared as Barbarina in Panopera's production of Le nozze di Figaro.  Jasmine maintains a private voice studio, comprised of students across the country of all ages and skill level and in many genres.  Ms. Haghighatian received her Bachelor of Music in Voice performance from the University of Texas at San Antonio under the guidance of Dr. Catherine Nix, and her Master of Music in Voice Performance from Texas State University, under the tutelage of renowned soprano, Cheryl Parrish.
  
Ms. Haghighatian resides in Central Texas and is available for both teaching and performing in the region.
